Who are we?

The Fort Lauderdale Black Police Officers Association is comprised of police officers and civilians whom are dedicated to promoting justices, fairness, and effectiveness in law enforcement. The core focus of FLBPOA center upon Law Enforcement issues, with a strong emphasis on the effect of these issues on the community. 

We focus on improving police and community positive interactions through our programs such as the Teen Summit, Turkey Give-away, Christmas Toy Drive, our annual Backpack Giveaway and Youth Behind the Shield mentor program.
